Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, the latest title from Fatshark set in the Warhammer universe, this time focusing on the grim future of Warhammer 40,000 following the success of Vermintide 2.
My work on the project spanned a range of disciplines, including screenshots, motion graphics, trailers, and in-game cutscenes, as well as graphic design work in the form of alternative key art for the “Imperial Edition”.
One of the standout pieces of work was the opportunity to update the intro sting that plays when the game boots up. The aim was to root it firmly within the Warhammer 40,000 universe, presenting it as a low-fi video transmission through an in-world terminal, with the visuals displayed as if being broadcast directly onto the screen.
Completing this work led to the creation of a mini social media campaign in the form of 12 episodic “Vox Transmission” pieces.
Written by the game’s narrative designer, these short episodes formed a prelude story to the game’s events and were released monthly in the lead-up to launch.

Finally, I delivered the Summer Game Fest trailer, combining interstitial cinematic camera work captured using the game’s cinematic tools with in-game gameplay footage.
