MotorStorm™, developed by Evolution Studios and released in 2006 as a PlayStation 3 launch title, was one of the earliest large-scale projects I worked on.
My contribution focused primarily on creating 2D assets for use within the game, including vehicle liveries, track logos, and in-world advertising hoardings to help build out the game’s visual identity and sense of place.
My work on MotorStorm: Pacific Rift, the sequel to the 2006 original, was primarily focused on the design and implementation of the game’s UI. This included creating track logos and menu artwork, as well as shaping the UX flow and supporting usability testing to ensure the interface was clear, responsive, and aligned with the game’s overall identity.
Work on MSA was split into two distinct phases. The initial focus was on exploring how to transition the off-road series into an urban setting, which involved producing styleframes and UI exploration to help define the new direction.
Following release, I was brought back to support the project with marketing materials and trailer production.
