Originally slatted to be a launch title for the Playstation 4 and announced at the time of the PS4 at a conference in New York.
“DRIVECLUB is all about you and your friends. It's about teamwork; it's about everyone fighting for one another and earning rewards together – and most importantly it's about sharing in the sheer thrill of every race”
My work on Driveclub covered the full spectrum of production, from establishing the initial brand book and visual guidelines through to key art, UI concepts and implementation. It also extended into the announcement trailer and a range of supporting conference materials.
In the run up to the PS4s release we worked with KentLyons and 4creative to produce a Driveclub themed version of the infamous c4 idents.
Driveclub Bikes was the first major expansion released outside of the Driveclub season pass. The content was announced and launched as a surprise on stage at Paris Games Week in 2015.
My work on the expansion included producing the announcement and launch trailer, updating the game’s intro sequence, and creating artwork for all 44 of the new single-player campaign tour cards.
"Experience the white-knuckle thrills of the world’s most powerful Superbikes and ride for your Club in DRIVECLUB BIKES"
Driveclub VR marked the final release in the franchise. The game required the existing UI to be adapted for VR, ensuring readability and usability in a fully immersive environment. In addition, the new single-player mode introduced over 40 additional tour cards, a selection of which are shown below.
